By car from Lisbon airport:
Take the A1 Norte (north) and follow the highway until the junction Pombal, Ansiao (IC8). Follow the IC8 until Figueiró dos Vinhos (N237). See route description below.
By car from Porto airport:
Take the A1 Sud (south) direction Coimbra and then the A1 until junction Pombal. Take the IC8 direction Ansiao and then the junction Figueiró dos Vinhos (N237). See route description below.

Local & getting closer
We are located 10 minutes by car from the centre of Figueiro dos Vinhos. Go to Figueiró dos Vinhos, in the centre of town, just under the church (lower) is a roundabout with a blue sign towards Parque de campismo Foz de Alge (this is not us), but go in that direction, pass the traffic lights straight on, next roundabout turn left, direction Carapinhal, Fontainha (that is us)…
Final part Of Your Journey
Straight through and on until end of the village and there the road turns into a dirt road with little blue signs indicating Quinta da Fonte… simply follow until our house! We are in the middle of nature at the end of a dirt road, the road is ok for all type of cars, although a bit bumpy and dusty, not suitable for a Ferrari though…. 5 minutes from the small village of Carapinhal.
